My last stop in Italy, Milan was the perfect way to end my time in Italy before crossing borders into Switzerland. It’s such a modern city, so different from the historic feels of the cities I visited prior to this. With less than 24 hours in the fashion capital of Italy, I wasn’t able to do much, but I made sure to get some shopping done!
Walking past the Milan Cathedral and admiring the incredible gothic architecture, I made my way to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, home of the first Fratelli Prada store that I had only heard about in my fashion merchandising class.
People watching was so much fun because the locals were more stylish and chic in comparison to the other cities. I even spotted a few models in town for the upcoming Milan Men’s Fashion Week. Yes, eye candy af. (Sorry Brian lol)
My time in Milano was short but sweet. It was the perfect halfway stop between Venice and Switzerland. Hopefully, I have the chance to come back next time for a couple days at least (and not as a broke, jobless college graduate)! Here’s to hoping!
Next stop: Interlaken, Switzerland. Stay tuned for my next post!
Thanks for doing life with moi!
