Diet Starts Black Friday


Every fourth Thursday of November is about the abundance of great food shared with people we love and are thankful for.

Tbh, I’m always trying to be conscious of what I eat and drink, but Thanksgiving (and truthfully every weekend) is always the exception. If you’re like me, turkey is just the side dish to the multiple servings of mac and cheese and all the great casseroles you’ll pile onto the plate.

I know. Every single one of those casseroles is so bad for me and I’m probably clogging up every artery in my body, but hey, Thanksgiving only comes once a year. And if that isn’t a good enough excuse for you, just remember – every American is celebrating this blessed holiday and eating just like you.

So sit around the table, share what you’re thankful for and just eat. Thanksgiving is only 24 short hours long, and when the clock strikes 12, it’s time to burn those calories shopping.

My outfit today is a sweater from BCBGMAXAZRIA, a faux leather skirt from Zara, a bandana scarf from Madewell, the Q Natasha bag from Marc by Marc Jacobs and my booties from Dolce Vita. With that being said – this Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for this oversized sweater and the elastic waistband on this leather skirt.
